Okay, after MUCH delay, this Sunday February 13 marks the beginning of Movie Night at Thieves Tavern on 20th Street and Shotwell. Showtime is 10 p.m. every Sunday and admission is absofuckinglutely FREE!!

Peter Jackson of LOTR fame directed this 1989 mockumentary of the backstage drama of a muppet revue. The Village Voice said it is "so tasteless it scrapes genius." Sex, drugs, and muppet massacre. What's not to love?
2/20 The Forbidden Zone
1980 cult classic written and directed by Richard Elfman on a budget of what looks to be about $250. Join young Frenchy as she tumbles headlong through a door in her basement that leads to the Sixth Dimension. Gasp at the hijinks that ensue. Trouble, this one's for you. Starring Herve Villechaize as the Emperor of the Forbidden Zone and Danny Elfman as Satan. 'Nuff said.
2/27 Ginger Snaps
Ginger and Brigitte are sisters closely bonded through their obsession with mayhem, torture and death. Their relationships is strained after Ginger is viciously attacked by a wild animal and begins mutating into an uncontrolled sexpot with some rather nasty canine tendencies. This movie rawks!
